Bisphenol A has been linked to reproductive problems, learning disabilities, hormone disruption and cancer.
Passage of the BPA-Free Kids Ordinance will protect children in Chicago from exposure to Bisphenol A by making it unlawful to sell any product intended for children under the age of 7 that contains a detectable amount of Bisphenol A within the city of Chicago. Doing so will allow parents to shop for their children without fear of purchasing a product that contains a toxic chemical harmful to their children. Read more about it here. 
CREHM is featured in Roll Call as one of the organizations that signed onto the NGO support letter asking the Senate to address BPA exposures in the Senate Food Safety Modernization Act.
