Bisphenol A has been linked to reproductive problems, learning disabilities, hormone disruption and cancer.

Passage of the BPA-Free Kids Ordinance will protect children in Chicago from exposure to Bisphenol A by making it unlawful to sell any product intended for children under the age of 7 that contains a detectable amount of Bisphenol A within the city of Chicago. Doing so will allow parents to shop for their children without fear of purchasing a product that contains a toxic chemical harmful to their children. Read more about it here. PDF Document
