Proposal Development (Pre-Award)
The Grants Administration department works with Primary Investigators (PIs) or Project Directors (PDs) interested in submitting funding applications in the pre-application and submission stages including identification of funding opportunities, development of proposals (narrative and budget) and the submission process. We assist when needed PIs/PDs in the writing and editing of grant proposals, as well as in planning precise, feasible budgets. We also complete the final production of proposals, which can include a final edit, the preparation of all required forms and documentation, making copies and getting the proposal to the funding agency for applications submitted electronically or via hardcopy.
We assist clients interested in submitting funding applications in the pre-application and submission stages, which we call Pre-Award, with the following services:
- Identification of Funding Opportunities
- Narrative and Budget Development
- Submission of Funding Applications using System to System Software (Cayuse 424)
- Submission of Institutional Review Board (IRB) Approval Forms to Research Affairs
- Creation of NIH Electronic Research Administration (eRA) Accounts and Monitoring of Project Announcements
